Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Horticulture Tutor to join our fantastic team at The Greater Horseshoe School in Heathfield, Devon. As a Horticulture Tutor you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils' achievement and ability to develop.

You will be offered a City + Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Practical Horticulture Skills qualification if you do not already have this or the equivalent. Industry competence would be beneficial, however, gardening knowledge, experience of working with pupils, a love of the outdoors, a desire to work the land, to grow vegetables and plants are of the utmost importance.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of working in an SEN environment

  • Gardening/Horticulture qualifications

The school is situated in a peaceful woodland setting near Newton Abbot in Devon.

    Salary: Up to £26,000.00 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
