Full Job Description

These fellow roles provide medical support to the hospital at night team and increase resilience of the night model. In total five posts have been created so that there is a balance between night work (7 nights in a 5 week rolling rota) and time to pursue a fellowship in an area of interest. They also offer flexibility to take leave when not undertaking night shifts, as the fellowship have no clinical service delivery commitment. You will work alongside the experienced nursing teams, managing patients with a full-range of oncological conditions. These fellow posts are based upon similar resident medical officer type roles in the UK. There will opportunities for education and service development. Your skills will be vital in helping us achieve our mission of continuing to make a national and international contribution to cancer research and treatment, so that more people are cured and quality of life is improved for those with cancer. Post are offered for six or 12 months with fellowships in a wide range of areas to suit a number of interests including:

  • Robotic Simulation and surgical education
  • Dermatology
  • Endocrinology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Endoscopy
  • Palliative Medicine
  • Leadership, education or patient safety
  • Early lung cancer diagnosis
  • Urology
  • Geriatric Oncology
  • Microbiology
  • Digital Health care
  • Oncology
  • Head and Neck surgery
