This post is fixed term for 36 months to meet the needs of the service., As a hospital pharmacist, you will work in a variety of clinical areas, using your skills within the ward based multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal and safe medicines are prescribed for your patients.
You will gain experience in a variety of ward specialities and hospital dispensary services.
You will undertake a structured training programme, with support from experienced practitioners, to build confidence and competence to provide pharmaceutical care to complex and specialist areas. Your structured training programme will be supplemented by local learning opportunities to address your own identified learning needs. Your development aim for the post will be to start your Royal Pharmaceutical Society credentialing journey as well as gaining your independent prescribing qualification to enable you to progress into advanced roles after this post.
The pharmacy team provides a 7-day service. This role will include ward and dispensary support over weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis., Applicants are invited to apply in Welsh. Any application submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than an application made in English.
