This role entails working across Gloucester and Cheltenham to cover Wotton lawn hospital, laurel house and Honeybourne units. It is a very Dynamic and important role which encourages solution finding and integrated multidisciplinary working to support the journey of WORKING AGE adults through admission and beyond discharge.
Hours per week FULL TIME-37.5 hrs per week - part-time and flexible working will be considered
Wotton Lawn Hospital tour - YouTube, To act as an inpatient social worker for working age acute/recovery inpatients admitted to Psychiatric hospitals across Gloucestershire.
The role will entail working to find solutions to complicated needs/troubles.
Working collaboratively with other professions and care sectors.
Ensuring clear communication is maintained and working efficiently to provide care.
Knowledge of the Care act, mental health and mental capacity act are essential to ensure that process and procedures are followed and safe and best outcomes are measured.
An expectation of this role will be to role model and or tutor juniors/students.

Salary Update
