Hospitality Coordinator - Worth Abbey We are looking to appoint a Hospitality Coordinator to join the Abbey team soonest. The successful applicant will assist the Hospitality Director for Worth Abbey to implement the strategy for letting out of the Worth Abbey site including St Bruno's, Compass House, the Bermondsey Huts, Abbey Church venues and church events, in a manner consistent with our values, assisting in maximising the commercial potential of the retreat centre and associated buildings. The postholder will be expected to be loyal to the aims and objectives of the Abbey and to have regard to the Benedictine ethos and the Roman Catholic character of the Abbey. As a Hospitality Coordinator your responsibilities would include: Strategy:

  • Work with the Hospitality Manager and Hospitality Director to develop and implement a strategy that maximises the commercial potential of the Worth Abbey site in line with our Benedictine values.
  • Administration:
  • Provide administrative support to the Hospitality Director of Worth Abbey.
  • Guest Service:
  • Work with the Hospitality Manager to be the first point of contact for all guests whilst on site, including meet and greet, inductions and the delivery of outstanding hospitality to all our guests throughout their stay.
  • Operational Duties:
  • Work with the Hospitality Manager to ensure that the facilities being hired are prepared to the highest standard ahead of a guests stay.
  • Compliance
  • Be responsible for the safeguarding compliance of Worth Abbey Projects.
