Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Hospitality and Event Manager to oversee operations at two unique venues in Birmingham. This exciting role focuses on the management of high-profile dinners, corporate events, and day delegate packages, ensuring the seamless execution of events for clients and guests.
Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, superior organisational skills, and a proven track record in managing large-scale events and hospitality services.,

  • Lead the planning and delivery of large, high-profile dinners and corporate events across two unique venues.

  • Coordinate all aspects of hospitality and event management, including catering, staffing, and logistics.

  • Ensure both venues provide consistent, high-quality service for day delegates, corporate events, and exclusive functions.

  • Manage venue operations, including setup, food and beverage service, and guest relations.

  • Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and tailor services to meet their expectations.

  • Work closely with external vendors and internal teams to ensure flawless event execution.

  • Monitor event budgets, ensure cost control

  • Oversee and motivate the hospitality and events team, ensuring staff training and development.

  • Manage guest feedback and address any issues with professionalism and efficiency.

    Proven experience in hospitality and event management, ideally with large-scale events and corporate functions.

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with high-profile clients and team members.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Expertise in event logistics.

  • Knowledge of the Birmingham hospitality and events market (preferred).
