Hospitality & General Assistant - England

As an Hospitality& General Assistant you would be working closely with the Catering Manager based on site in one of our iconic venues, supporting the operations team, talented chefs to deliver flawless service and exceptional food and drinks.,

• Play an integral role in the successful delivery of events across the site
• To monitor daily, the standards achieved in your department and report to your line managers any areas of concerns.
• To liaise with key people in all necessary areas (kitchen, events, reception, etc.) of the business to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with menu/standards pre-agreed.
• To meet clients on arrival making sure that the event is as they require and ensuring that any on the day changes are passed on to the relevant people where necessary
• To carry out regular checks of the events areas for maintenance, housekeeping and other health and safety issues. Report to the line manager.
• To assist with lunch service preparations and service
• To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To be customer focused at all times, by being visible during service periods, approachable and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs.
• To project a willing and helpful attitude to customers; to seek the appropriate knowledge of food items served throughout catering areas and to keep areas and service counters clean and fully stocked., We invest in the training and development of our teams to give them the appropriate skills necessary to thrive in their job roles.   Ideally have experience working within Education catering
• Experience working events
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused
