Full Job Description

We are seeking lecturers in health and social care who will deliver across our provision. This post provides an excellent opportunity for either a qualified teacher, a graduate or a vocationally experienced professional interesting in pursuing a career as a health and social care teacher.

This role will allow you to deliver exciting and interactive teaching, learning and assessment whilst ensuring we provide an outstanding experience for all learners. You will become part of a great existing team who are committed to supporting every student to achieve their potential.

Health & Social Care is one of the largest departments in this highly successful Further Education College and we have a range of effective and innovative employer links across the region who support our students by offering industry placements, workplace visits and guest speaking. The role will include delivering to our level 2 and 3 students on NCFE/CACHE and Pearson qualifications for up to 23 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will already have a recognised teaching qualification at level 5 or above, or be willing to work towards this qualification. You'll have relevant experience of working within Health and Social Care and a strong awareness of current developments in the field and be able to combine this with an ability to inspire others. The college can support unqualified applicants to pursue teacher training and gain a recognised teaching qualification at level 5.

(HOURLY PAID UP TO 23 HOURS PER WEEK)

£26.95 - £29.57 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
