Full Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and reliable House Assistant to join our Domestic Services team.

The House Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the residential properties of Kent College, including our boarding houses, are cleaned to a high standard. They will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. An awareness of Child Protection, Health and Safety and COSHH would be an advantage.

The Senior School (11 - 18 years) has some 600 boys and girls, approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day. THE POSITION

The position is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 1pm, 42 weeks per year with at least 5 of these weeks worked over the summer period.

A minimum of 6 Saturday mornings per annum will be required on a rotational basis.
