Full Job Description

  • Developing and carrying out robust, risk-based audits across the department to provide assurance that customers fair and reasonable expectations are met, regulatory and claims best practice procedures are delivered, leakage and other financial risk is effectively managed

  • Developing a complete understanding of our internal home claims processes, new initiatives, best pratice and the impact of inefficient processes on customer service, leakage and fraud

  • Identifying areas for indemnity savings and taking appropriate steps to deliver the financial benefits

  • Effectively identifying, managing and reporting risk within your area of responsibility, enhancing the risk management culture within your area

  • Where necessary, the role will expand to cover all aspects of claims handling within the department

  • Managing root cause analysis and recommending improvements that support the goals of reducing justified complaints, increasing renewal retention and complying with FCA regulatory requirements

    Claims experience and sound knowledge across Home/Household Claims

  • Prior experience in either leadership or coaching with auditing or quality review skills

  • Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret MI and identify areas of risk and opportunity
