Full Job Description

We are looking for a Housekeeper to be based in one of our Community Resource Centre (CRC) at Combe Lea Resource Centre in Midsomer Norton on a part time basis. This is a permanent contract to support our housekeeping team, working 22.5 hours per week on four week rolling rota.,

  • Carry out domestic tasks which maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout the care home, considering the wishes of services users.
  • You will be a good team player and have great communication skills
  • You will be able to develop appropriate and professional relationships with our residents and carers, which value them as individuals, including establishing and maintaining effective communication
  • Undertake a laundry service for residents and a general laundry service for the care home, which will include sorting and washing laundry, ironing, operating laundry equipment, e.g., washers and dryers, irons. Cleaning soft furnishings within the home.
  • Keep up-to-date written records.
