Full Job Description
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to Avery Healthcare's standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, maintaining hotel service standards. Other responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect., Your focus as Housekeeping Assistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilitieswillinclude :
- Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
- Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials,ensuringthat all areas are well presented andmaintainedin good condition.
- Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
To succeed in your application, you will live our values of caring,supportive,honest, respectful and accountable in all you do., Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments. - Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
- Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping / laundry service to residents.
- The ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice., To succeed in this role, you should have knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments, as well as experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting. You should also demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping / laundry service to residents, and the ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
