Keeping our Hospitals clean is a big priority for us. We are looking for a Housekeeper, who will help us to create a safe and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing a range of areas, getting the best from cleaning products and, using equipment (training provided where needed). You will take pride in your work and undertake a variety of general responsibilities ranging from removing waste, to checking stock and updating records on the computer. To help us build a healthier nation as a Housekeeper at our Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital.

In this varied and physical role as a Housekeeper you will be;

• Cleaning and preparing a range of areas.


• Taking pride in your work.


• Getting the best from cleaning products and also, using equipment such as carpet cleaners safely.


• A variety of general responsibilities ranging from removing waste, to checking stock and updating records on the computer., Care about our customers, so that you can organise your own work and plan your time to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a customer's experience.
  
  Be friendly, with good communication skills. This will come in handy when you are working in a team with your colleagues, and also when you are interacting with our customers.

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions and offer a wide range of complex surgery and services. Our care is matron led and we are proud to have received a "good" rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We've been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.

The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
