Housekeeper Cook

A lovely family of four are on the hunt for an exceptional live-in housekeeper/cook to work from Thursday to Monday each week, on their stunning estate in Sussex.

The property is mainly occupied by the client over the weekend so it is vital the candidate is comfortable with weekend work.

Duties will include:

• Hands on housekeeping, cleaning, washing and ironing


• Running a well-organized and well maintained household for the principals


• Liaise with estate team for ongoing preservation of estate holdings


• Care and upkeep of antique furnishings and various artwork's


• Cooking fresh healthy family style lunch's and dinners for the family and their guests Organizing, managing, overseeing two cleaning staff


• Taking care of household pets


• Occasional driving duties


• Grocery shopping, stock management for all properties on estate


• Linen management and control


• Creating flower arrangements for properties in use throughout estate


• Build and maintain good relations with suppliers and contractors
  
  The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous experience working in a large household for a busy family, is multi-talented and capable of turning their hand to a wide variety of tasks. Holding exemplary cleaning standards and having a can do attitude will be paramount in this role.
