Housekeeper (Derwen@Ludlow)

A part-time Housekeeping role is available based at Derwen college's satellite in Ludlow. To work as part of the Housekeeping Team to ensure the satellite is cleaned to a high standard in accordance with College procedures and cleaning schedules, in addition to the individual needs and requirements of students.,

• Ensure all areas of the College is cleaned to a highest standard


• Duties will include cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, vacuuming, dusting, mopping/steaming, cleaning internal windows etc.


• Compliance (at all times) with college cleaning guidelines, schedules, policies and with our statutory obligations under IPC, H&S and COSHH


• Monitor supplies of consumables, replenish where necessary and advise the manager when stock levels need increasing


• Ensures that adequate supplies of domestic consumables are available across the college, e.g. toilet rolls, soap, paper towels etc


• Respond positively and efficiently to requests for immediate assistance for cleaning operations throughout the college


• Maintain accurate and up to date cleaning records


• Ensure that all equipment is maintained in accordance with college guidelines


• Ensure you report to maintenance, any concerns or damaged facilities


• Respect and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of staff and students at all times


This is a part-time role offering 10 hours per week-Days and times can be negotiated for the successful candidate.
