Full Job Description

We require a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join a highly motivated, dedicated team of Housekeepers at The Fulbrook Centre at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. You'll work with nursing staff in order to maintain a clean and safe environment on our mental health older adult wards, maintaining a homely and comfortable atmosphere. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the patient rooms, public areas, back of house areas such as linen room and laundry areas, in line with company policies and procedures at a level that meets or exceeds National Cleanliness standards. You'llensure a clean safe environment and catering provision for clients, of which in-house training will be provided. If you're a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of being able to deliver a high-quality cleaning service, this could be the role for you and we want to hear from you! This role involves shift working including lates, earlies, weekends, and bank holidays over a rolling rota, whereby weekend and banks holidays are paid at an enhanced rate.,

  • Cleaning and maintaining the patient rooms, public areas, back of house areas such as linen room and laundry areas, according to Trust policy and procedures at a level that meets or exceeds National Cleanliness standards
  • Handle and remove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures
  • Unpack and stack all linen and laundry
  • Regenerate cook/chill meals recording the temperatures of food at stages defined asappropriate within the relevant wards
  • Ensure kitchen equipment, regeneration equipment and all surfaces are clean at all times
  • Ensure food is ready to be served at the correct times for service and all waste food is discarded immediately after service
