Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability., Keeping our Hospitals clean is a big priority for us. We are looking for a motivated, friendly and flexible individual to join our Theatre Housekeeping Team as a bank staff member, covering sickness, annual leave in the week and working Saturdays when there is a theatre list. The work will be evening work once theatres have finished. As an individual with experience in a similar role, you will be well organised and will ensure that cleaning products are used effectively and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for customers. As this is a customer facing role the successful candidate will also need to possess good customer service skills. Key Accountabilities To clean and prepare the areas for which you are responsible following the required policies and procedures, ensuring that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients. To provide general assistance and support as part of a team.

  • Care about our patients, so that you can organise your own work and plan your time to make sure cleaning never gets in the way of a patients' experience.
  • Be friendly, with good communication and customer service skills. This will come in handy when you are working in a team with your colleagues and also when you are interacting with our patients.
  • Motivated, friendly and flexible.
  • Experience in a similar role, you will be well organised and will ensure that cleaning products are used effectively, and that the location is clean, pleasant and safe for patients.
  • Infection prevention and control compliances, reporting incidents to the relevant team members.

  • Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital. Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30 bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments. Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain.
