Housekeeping Assistant

We are looking for part-time Housekeeping Assistants to join our vibrant team at our Children's Activity Centre, Condover Hall which is based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This is a seasonal vacancy from now to October 2024 with the option to return for the 2025 season.,

• Cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms


• Cleaning communal areas of Condover Hall


• Maintaining cleanliness and health & safety standards


• Ensuring the storerooms are stocked with necessary linens, guest supplies and cleaning equipment


• Helping to decorate the centre for events


• Working in a fast-paced and often physically demanding environment on our busy guest turn around days

• Able to work on own initiative and happy to try new things


• A team player - but also happy to work as an individual


• Reliable and responsible


• Previous experience working in a housekeeping or cleaning position is desirable but not essential

The details:

• This role is paid at from £11 per hour


• You will be based at JCA's flagship activity centre, Condover Hall, Shrewsbury


• This role is from now to October 2024


• Part time hours to work a mix of Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday


• Working hours are 9am - 5.30pm


• Accommodation is not available and you will need your own transport to travel to Condover Hall due to the location
