Full Job Description
The position will involve supporting the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering housekeeping and linen room services to National Standards for Cleaning in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and Organisational assisting in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices, supporting the Facilities Unit commitment to the EQMS framework and helping to maintain open, effective communication.
The post holder is responsible for training/ supervising and providing professional guidance to housekeeping and linen room staff to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to. In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all staff are appropriately trained, An exciting opportunity has arisen to join part of our busy Facilities Team at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant. The successful candidate will form part of our establishment delivery high standards of services to support patient care by supporting the Facilities team in delivering housekeeping and linen room services to National Standards for Cleaning in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and Organisational assisting in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices, supporting the Facilities Unit commitment to the EQMS framework and helping to maintain open, effective communication.
The post holder is responsible for training/ supervising and providing professional guidance to housekeeping and linen room staff to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to. In addition, the Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all staff are appropriately trained.
The position will involve shift rostered hours across a seven day week as an afternoon position. Further details to be confirmed upon Interview.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
