Full Job Description
The Housing Management team play a large role in empowering young people to belong,
contribute, and thrive at YMCA Milton Keynes & Northamptonshire.
You will provide administrative support to the Housing Management team at YMCA Milton &
Northamptonshire. You will support the team to provide exceptional service delivery that makes
YMCA a trusted and great place to live for young people in the local community.
You will work collaboratively with multiple teams, both internal & external, and support the team
on key target areas including arrears, tenancy management, and occupancy levels. You will also
support the team to be fully compliant in areas such as GDPR, the requirements of the Housing
Ombudsman and other Housing Regulations., Administration
Support the Housing Management team with all administrative functions, demonstrating a high
level of attention to detail to provide exceptional service to our residents. including but not
limited to:
- Respond to general enquiries relating to our properties
- Prepare relevant paperwork such as Move In packs and licence agreements for new residents
- Support residents with Housing Benefit functions, including overseeing refund requests,
- Notify moves to relevant bodies, to include CORE reporting to the Ministry of Housing,
- Produce and share regular reports to support the wider team to meet & exceed targets
- Factually report all actions taken on our Customer Relationship Management system In-Form
- Produce letters for residents
- Issue rent statements
- Complete returns to external bodies to ensure that we meet requirements of Housing
- Cover responsibilities of other team members when on leave
- To provide occasional reception cover where needed.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Experience of producing reports
Experience of working with a customer relationship
management system
Experience of Council Tax and/or Housing Benefit
administrative functions
Experience of issuing rent statements
Experience of working in a housing management setting
Experience of working with In-Form or other web-based
database
