Housing Assistance Program Manager - We are currently seeking a highly skilled andmotivated individual to join a premier team of Housing Managers at the 422nd Civil EngineeringSquadron, Royal Air Force (RAF) Croughton, United KingdomWe are looking for someone with knowledge and experience in Housing Management to serveas the Housing Assistance Program Manager and plan, organize, coordinate, and manageall aspects of housing assistance.Why RAF Croughton:Located in the heart of Northamptonshire, RAF Croughton is home to the 422nd Civil EngineeringSquadron. This base is pivotal in maintaining international security and fostering strong alliancesbetween the US and UK. Our team is dedicated to excellence, innovation, and the higheststandards of operational readiness., You will be responsible for managing all aspects of housing assistance to ensure thathousing assistance provided complies with legal and regulatory requirements andmeets customer needs; Exercising management responsibilities and establishespolicies and procedures for the housing assistance program; Performing non-routinestudies and surveys to study unprecedented problems and improve the housingassistance program and participate in the administration of housing management andAdministering a variety of housing interest programs. The hours of work will be 37.5hours per week on a fixed schedule of 0800-16.30 Monday to Friday , which maybe modified due to mission needs and in accordance with the organization's flexibleworking policies., You will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicableUS and UK laws, rules and regulations. You may be required to travel by military and/or civilianaircraft, and you may also be required to travel to the US or other country, in the performance ofofficial duties or attend necessary training, this position may also be coded as mission essential.You will be required to complete a 6-month probationary period. Overtime may be required, andyou may be assigned other duties not included in this position description, but that are appropriateto the grade and skill set of the incumbent.All successful applicants will require a security clearance and a right to work in the UK.

You will be knowledgeable of basic housing instructions, policies, principles, concepts, andmethodologies, and of installation housing privatization project transaction documents;knowledge of realty practices including management and financing of rental and saleproperty and of appropriated fund budget system and contracting provisions sufficient toensure proper negotiations or commitment of government funds; knowledge of theprinciples, techniques, and methodology related to housing referral and relocation supportservices and knowledge of housing audit or survey requirements and procedures to performregular or periodic reviews of local housing management operations. You will have skill ininterviewing to obtain factual information, and to explain housing policies, relocationassistance, and local procedures to military members along with the ability to analyseinterrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity, and developrecommendations to solve problems.,

  • One year's Specialized experience in the appropriate field or A Master's degree or
  • equivalent graduate degree (or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree), directly related to the appropriate field.
  • A valid UK Category B Driving License is required for this role.
  • A Professional housing certification is desirable.

    Competitive salary: the starting salary for this position is £32,389.50 per annum
