Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Housing Coordinator. The role is 30 hours per week, 9am-3.30pm with a half hour unpaid lunch break daily.,

  • ensure that residents receive high quality housing related support, that enables them to manage their tenancy and increase their independence.
  • be responsible for day-to-day health and safety and maintenance of all schemes, ensuring a safe, clean and secure environment.
  • facilitate resident involvement
  • ensure that breaches of licence or tenancy agreements are dealt with promptly and in line with NH&S procedure.

    If you have previous experience of Housing Management (ideally within supported housing) and of working with vulnerable groups, this role could be perfect for you! We are looking for committed individuals who are driven by a desire to make real difference to the lives of adults living within our Supported Accommodation settings.
  • We are looking for someone with:
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • An ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships, both internally and externally
  • Leadership skills
  • Knowledge of relevant housing and health and safety legislation, including the standards set by the Regulator of Social Housing and Housing Ombudsman.
  • Knowledge of local social housing allocation policy and procedures, and welfare benefits - particularly housing benefit, universal credit and PIP
  • As the role involves working in multiple locations within Leicester / Leicestershire, the successful candidate will need a reasonable independent means of transport.
