Supporting Documents for Housing Duty Officer - Part time (18.5 hours per week)
The Home Environment Assessment and Response Team (HEART) is a formal partnership across five local authorities and the county council. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council is proud to be the hosting authority for this service which brings together the provision of housing adaptations, improvements, and minor adaptations for the residents of Warwickshire.
HEART is a service comprising of Occupational Therapists and Housing Assessment Officers who complete assessments with Warwickshire residents in their own homes. They offer solutions including provision of equipment, minor adaptations, and applications for Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) for major adaptations.
HEART is committed to continue to improve the services provided to customers and focuses on delivering the right solution at the right time. HEARTs overall aim is to ensure that people are able to maintain an independent life and ensure their home environment is adapted appropriately, is safe, and warm.
