We are recruiting a Housing Manager for Older Persons Services at Caerphilly County Borough Council., This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Housing Team..

We pay an attractive salary of £48,474 - £51,515 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are seeking an Older Persons Housing Manager to lead the strategic development of innovative Older Persons Housing Services, including sheltered housing, floating support, and community alarm services, ensuring they are continuously improving, meet regulatory requirements, and satisfy needs, demands and aspirations.

The successful candidate will ensure service charges are appropriately applied and are cost efficient to contract-holders, and support effective delivery of WHQS, building management, and maintenance in Sheltered Housing. They will lead on implementation and promotion of new and emerging technologies and the digital switchover.

A relevant Level 5 (Foundation Degree) qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
Working knowledge of housing legislation regarding management of sheltered housing services, community alarm and floating support services.
A full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings, visit sheltered housing schemes and visit clients., Disability Confident
