Housing Officer

Are you passionate about helping people? Join our team as an Housing Officer and support our participants with their housing needs. You'll oversee a caseload of adult males in either a custodial or community environment. Our successful candidate will work alongside probation practitioners, you'll perform initial assessments to determine their specific needs and create customised accommodation plans through a series of agreed interventions. This process includes keeping participants informed about decisions that affect them and ensuring they understand their rights. Our successful candidate will ideally has knowledge of homelessness or experience in the criminal justice sector. However, we recognise that not everyone will meet all criteria. If you are engaging, compassionate, resilient, and comfortable working with a diverse range of people from various backgrounds then this is the job for you. We provide on-site training and support to help you develop your knowledge and skills throughout your position.
