Full Job Description

Are you passionate about helping people? Join our team as an Housing Officer and support our participants with their housing needs. You'll oversee a caseload of adult males in either a custodial or community environment. Our successful candidate will work alongside probation practitioners, you'll perform initial assessments to determine their specific needs and create customised accommodation plans through a series of agreed interventions. This process includes keeping participants informed about decisions that affect them and ensuring they understand their rights. Our successful candidate will ideally has knowledge of homelessness or experience in the criminal justice sector. However, we recognise that not everyone will meet all criteria. If you are engaging, compassionate, resilient, and comfortable working with a diverse range of people from various backgrounds then this is the job for you. We provide on-site training and support to help you develop your knowledge and skills throughout your position. This is a rewarding opportunity by making a change to someone's life, you can create a significant impact on their future., Manage a caseload of participants, producing personalised accommodation plans Carry out initial assessments, considering risk, situation and need Record progress and outcomes timely and accurately using case management system Maintain contact with participants, identifying any emerging risks and concerns, Communities and Education Division is the Justice and Social Care division of Seetec, delivering tailored support to participants across a range of contracts, including as CFO Activity Hubs, Accommodation, Personal Wellbeing and Approved Premises. In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we're offering a competitive salary of £24,650 - £29,000 per annum pro rata (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:
