Full Job Description
To support the delivery and future direction of the Strategic Housing Service and support and assist the Head of Housing in the co-ordination and drafting of Housing Service Policies and Strategies and related matters, local and sub-regional work on housing issues and in providing housing policy advice, analysis and associated research. Deal with complaints and check standards being met across whole Strategic Housing Service.
The successful applicant will work between various Cheshire East locations and will be competent at working independently whilst drawing knowledge, resources and securing buy in from wider Council Services to develop innovative innovative housing policies and strategies in alignment with legal frameworks.
Knowledge of the legal and regulatory frameworks in housing is essential.
Days will be spent working between all Cheshire East locations and also working from home, there may be a requirement to attend regional and national forums to seek to improve the way we work in Cheshire East. This is a newly developed role, following an internal restructure and will support the Head of Housing directly., Extensive knowledge of housing policy/strategy
A high degree of interpersonal skills
Experience of monitoring statistics and interpreting data
Project planning and effective performance management
Managing and delivering projects
