Full Job Description

Housing is a diverse area, and you will be involved in assisting a varied team to deliver services to support people to access accommodation and the services needed to help them sustain their home. There will be opportunities to develop an understanding of the wider housing system and how the Council works with private landlords and housing associations to increase the supply of affordable housing across the county borough. In addition, the role will involve working with a range of providers to develop innovation and practices aimed at preventing homelessness and working on the Council's Community Strategy to transform services to deliver effective early intervention and prevention services.

Have you recently graduated from university, finished school or college or perhaps fancy a career change? If so, we are seeking 4 Apprentices who are looking to kick start their career in Local Government., We are looking for highly motivated individuals with excellent communication and IT skills who can provide efficient and effective assistance to these apprenticeship roles.
