This 12-month fixed term contract is an exciting role for a person who wants to be a part of Housing Services continuous improvement journey. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic strategy and policy lead. As a principal policy adviser to the Director of Housing and management team, you will provide high-level advice to inform strategic decisions on the Council's goals, service delivery and cost-effective use of resources.

You will have responsibility to ensure the Housing Strategy & Policy Change Programme is implemented linked to the Social Housing Act. You will work with senior management to shape and develop the Strategy & Policy offer and be pivotal in the way the service delivers a challenging change programme. You will ensure residents are engaged and voices heard as part of the Strategy and Policy programme of work.
