Full Job Description
The role of Housing Support Assistant will include:
- Providing onsite management and supervision of the supported housing service ensuring the delivery of an effective, enhanced, housing management service
- Assisting with tenancy and voids management and maintaining occupancy levels
- Supporting and promoting compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal and external key stakeholders
- Managing the procurement and availability of supplies, furniture, and equipment
- Recording and updating relevant data, maintaining effective filing systems
- Contributing to special projects and change programmes as appropriate, Sanctuary Group encourages and welcomes applications from people from diverse backgrounds to support our commitment to offering an inclusive environment for our employees and customers.
- Previous experience delivering tenancy services
- Experience working to deadlines and prioritising workload
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Literacy and numeracy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE
- NVQ2 or equivalent in relevant area
- Ability to extract and interrogate data
- Some experience in the use of housing management systems or similar is desirable
- Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role; therefore, a full valid driving licence is essential

We work closely with the Home Office in order to prevent illegal working.
