If you love watching sport and documentaries then the passionate brands within Future PLC's Knowledge and Sports Vertical have a vacancy for How To Watch editor that could be right up your street. We are looking for a passionate individual to help manage our How To Watch content for brands such as Space.com, Live Science, Cyclingnews, Rugby World, Horse & Hound, Golf Monthly and FourFourTwo. What you'll be doing... As How To Watch Editor within the Knowledge and Sports Vertical, you'll help to spot the opportunities for brands to create How To Watch content around the biggest events in their topic areas. This could be around Champions League Football, Rugby World Cup or Solar eclipses. Reporting to the Editor, you will help plan and assist in creating content for all the brand sites, so that each brand has a consistent content plan being added to weekly.. You'll make sure breaking news stories are published on the most exciting events, and your creativity will shine as you develop fresh angles and spin up new features. You'll also manage a high-value portfolio of evergreen How To Watch content, ensuring it remains current and aligns with our editorial best practices as put forward by the central teams.

  • An interest and understanding of some of the brands and their subject matters.
  • Experience managing a team and working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with SEO.
  • Experience writing for online audiences.
  • An interest in and knowledge of how to use analytical tools.
  • Experience writing How To Watch or similar affiliate content.
  • Organisational skills (ie for peak sporting events, such as Olympics).

Internal job family level E5 The expected range for this role is £29,000 - £40,000 This is a Hybrid role from our Bath Office, working three days from the office, two from home
