Full Job Description

As an HR Administrator, you'll provide essential administrative support to the HR team and help keep our operations running smoothly.,

  • Processing invoices for agency workers and other HR expenses.
  • Facilitating the onboarding process, including the preparation of offer letters, employment contracts, and conducting pre-employment checks.
  • Publishing job adverts.
  • Organising and maintaining digital personnel files with accurate record-keeping.
  • Contributing to continuous process improvements to enhance the team's productivity and enable the Council's digitisation initiatives.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for HR queries.

    Are you an enthusiastic HR professional ready for your next career step? We're excited to welcome a motivated HR Administrator to our team based in Exeter City Centre!,
  • A minimum of 1 year of HR experience.
  • A strong desire to either pursue or continue a CIPD qualification (we'll support your development every step of the way).
  • Confidence with technology, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and a customer-first mindset.
