Full Job Description

The Corsham School Academy Group is seeking to appoint a highly organised and personable administrator to join our friendly HR team. This is a key role in the smooth and efficient running of our busy HR department, and, under the direction of the HR Manager, the HR Administrator will coordinate all aspects of HR administrative and recruitment processes whilst ensuring compliance with statutory Safer Recruitment requirements. In addition, the successful candidate will arrange for cover of classes of teachers who are absent, liaising with teaching staff, Cover Supervisors and Supply Agencies as required.

  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Previous experience of working in HR and in education would be an advantage but is not essential. Most importantly you will be efficient, keen, and quick to learn. This would therefore be a great opportunity for an experienced administrator with an interest in HR and people.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and to prioritise completing deadlines.
  • Well-developed ICT skills including Microsoft office packages, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • Permanent The Corsham School Hours/weeks: 30 hours per week Mon to Fri; 39 weeks per year (Term-Time only plus TD Days). There is some flexibility around start and finish times, to be negotiated with the successful candidate., The Corsham School is part of a small Multi Academy Trust serving the market town of Corsham and surrounding villages.
