Full Job Description
As a member of the Employee Administration Team, you will support the delivery of high quality, customer-focused, administrative support services across the University's Schools and Professional Services Directorates. Reporting to the Employee Administration Team Leader, you will be the primary point of contact for customers on any day-to-day employee administration issues, providing high quality, specialist and technical advice and guidance in relation to; pay and contractual queries; annual leave and other absence entitlements (including sickness absence and family friendly); DBS; UVKI; self-service systems and more.
A good level of education to at least 'A' level (or equivalent).
A demonstrably excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a highly customer-focused approach.
Demonstrable organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own work load and manage multiple activities over a daily, weekly and monthly cycle.
A demonstrable level of attention to detail and ability to work accurately when drafting correspondence and entering data.
A proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A proven ability to build constructive working relationships (both internal and external).

The Human Resources Directorate's primary roles are: To support the corporate and operations functions of the university, ensuring the university is able to comply with the law and other regulations governing its operation, through the development and maintenance an effective and compliant framework of policies and procedure, and other governance mechanisms. To provide high quality consultancy service, advice and guidance to managers and individual members of staff in relation to all aspects of employment. To lead on and support organisational development and culture change, in support of City St George's strategic direction and agreed values.
