Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified HR generalist to provide a professional operational HR service to the school, including practical, consistent and proactive HR advice and support to the Director of Finance and Operation (DFO), the Senior Leadership Team and Heads of Departments on all aspects of HR. This is a standalone role with some in house HR administration support; you will also liaise with our HR Business Partner at the Girls' Day School Trust Office who will assist you with providing guidance on the application of GDST HR policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will possess excellent time management, organisation and administrative skills. You will have the ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively with the needs of the school. We are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to relate well to people on all levels with sensitivity, tact and diplomacy. The ability to work well under pressure and work to tight deadline is key. Experience of working in an educational environment in a similar role would be an advantage, but is not essential.
