Full Job Description

We have big plans at TFG and we aim to grow all four of our current brands Phase Eight, Whistles Hobbs and Inside Story over the next 12 months. To achieve this we need to recruit more great people. Specifically we are looking to recruit an HR Advisor to join us in Whistles. This is a great opportunity to work with some fantastic people in a premium contemporary fashion brand and to enhance your own HR knowledge and experience in the process. Your duties as HR Advisor will include:

  • Act as a business partner to stakeholders across a wide spectrum of people matters; providing advice and guidance and/or escalating where appropriate

  • Support with restructuring processes across the Head Office teams including leading redundancy consultations and drafting correspondence accordingly;

  • Working closely with Head of HR to ensure that all the processes currently in place are 'fit for purpose' and in line with best practice standards and the TFG Group HR approach.

  • Draft invitation and outcome letters for Employee Relations processes and take detailed meeting notes as required

  • Oversee the preparation and issue of contracts and induction schedules for Head Office new starters to provide introductions to key contacts in the business

  • Approve changes to pay rates and support Managers with the process of contractual changes

  • Work closely with HR Manager on payroll deadlines and follow up with Line/Store/Concession Managers to ensure information is received

  • Act as a true generalist, participating in various projects across areas such as; Employee relations, Reward, L&D and Engagement

    As our new HR Advisor, you will have previous HR experience in a fast paced environment where you have worked with autonomy, managing your own priorities to deliver to the planned timescales for key projects and deadlines. If you have done this in a retail environment then even better. You have exceptional communication skills which you will use to build relationships with stakeholders across our business and you enjoy being a point of contact to provide advice and support to our colleagues. It would be great if you could bring experience and knowledge of L&D into this role as well. We are interviewing for this role imminently so please apply and we will be in touch.

    In return we offer a competitive salary and benefits including:

  • Staff Discount

  • Discounts across your favourite brands

  • Virtual GP Service

  • Virtual Wellbeing and Counselling Service

  • Financial Wellbeing Support

  • Early Pay through Access Early Pay

  • Discounted Gym Memberships
