Full Job Description

As a HR Advisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Providing HR support throughout the Mission Systems Business Sector, as well as providing Reports and Data through the function. Day-to-day, you'll be key in helping implement our ambitious people agenda throughout Mission Systems. As part of the People team, you'll support the Mission Systems area of the business and will provide progressive HR expertise.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Leverage reporting tools to gather and manipulate HR data, conducting comprehensive analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports to enable the HR team to track data workstream progress and highlight insights to stakeholders.
  • Translate complex data requirements into easily digestible formats for diverse audiences, including local HR teams and key programme stakeholders.
  • Supporting HR Business Partners in developing and driving people plans.
  • Ensuring all elements of HR administration are carried out by the People Centre - e.g. starters, leavers, referencing, security and compliance checks.
  • This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Ashton House (Ashton Vale, Bristol).

    Essential Experience of the HR Advisor
  • Experience with a HR Shared Services model and HR Information Systems (i.e., Success Factors).
  • Experience within an engineering/technical environment (preferred).
  • Analytical problem solver, proficient in all Microsoft Software office applications including, keen eye for detail, spotting anomalies, trends and providing solutions.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organisation.
  • General Data Protection Regulation knowledge or experience.
  • Qualifications for the HR Advisor
  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g., Associate CIPD level), or working towards.
  • Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
