Full Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the mental health sector?,

  • Provide advice, guidance and coaching to managers on ER topics, and HR policies including, but not limited to, performance management, absence and wellbeing, flexible working, providing effective solutions in line with relevant legislation, policies and procedures as well as best practice, and escalating to the HR Business Partners where appropriate.
  • End to end case management of employee relations cases supporting managers and colleagues to come to suitable resolutions.
  • Supporting HR Business Partners with complex cases as required. Working closely with line managers to provide advice, support and knowledge in respect of grievances, disciplinaries, performance management and absence management, family leave. Support the HR Business Partners and HR Operations Manager in developing, implementing and reviewing departmental SOPs and company policies / processes. Together with the Data Analyst, review and analyse data for monthly HR metrics including sickness absence, internal and external audits etc. identifying trends and communicating with HR Business Partners and stakeholders as appropriate.
  • Support HR operations to effectively produce employment documents including offer letters, contracts, changes to terms and conditions, letters in relation to flexible working requests or family leave and ensuring end to end processes are compliant, tracked and monitored effectively.
  • Assist with new starter induction process, conducting company inductions and making suggestions for improving the process, etc.
  • Liaising with other elements of the HR function such as Talent Acquisition, L&D, to ensure co-ordination of HR services to all stakeholders.

  • Proven experience of working in a generalist HR role, including ER
  • Good knowledge of HR and employment law
  • Experience in payroll administration
  • Current and up to date working knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and regulations
  • Proven experience of achieving personal and team goals, objectives and KPIs
  • Experience of creating, developing and embedding HR policies, processes and systems
  • Experience of working in a fast-growing company where change is the norm
  • Remuneration and Benefits : This role is a full-time, hybrid role with travel one day per week (on a Wednesday) to our head office in Semley, Wiltshire. Due to the remote location of our office a full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
