Full Job Description

As a HR Advisor at the boohoo Group you will work in partnership with our wider People Team to support the delivery of our People Plan. You will use your initiative and coaching skills to empower our group managers to lead their teams and support with case management, providing employee relations advice and guidance in line with current legislation and Company policy. Your team The group HR team support 550 wonderful team members split across our Manchester and London head office's. Partnering with our Technology, Legal, Finance, Facilities, Catering, Procurement teams to name just a few! Working from our Manchester, Dale Street office you will report into the Senior People Partner. In the People team, we create a workplace where people love what they do and feel valued as they develop and grow. What you'll be doing

  • Building effective stakeholder relationships and provide employee relations advice and guidance to managers in line with current legislation and Company policy, ensuring best practice and commercial solutions where possible.
  • Support with and provide advice to our stakeholders on investigation meetings, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management, welfare meetings, probationary reviews and family friendly policies etc.
  • Support with the maintenance of employee relations records and provide insights into employee behaviour, engagement and performance.
  • Support our People Business Partners with colleague engagement, listening forums and to manage our exit surveys to identify key trends.
  • Highlight key employee relations trends and to work closely with our wider People Team to provide KPI statistics to our stakeholders in order to effectively manage sickness, absence and labour turnover, prioritising hands on support for areas with the greatest opportunity or risk.
  • Support our People Assistant, liaising with our stakeholders and advising on queries raised by colleagues to the central People inbox, and actioning payroll approvals as required.
  • Working with our People Business Partners to ensure our managers are aware and compliant with IR35 regulations and tools, and to ensure accurate records are maintained.

    Experienced as a HR Generalist with the ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment.
  • The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships quickly, gaining their trust.
  • Experience working on ER cases in previous role.
  • Punctual, with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
