Full Job Description

Based at our site in Milton Keynes, you'll provide expert support on Employee Relations cases-advising managers, leading investigations, taking notes, and preparing essential documentation. You'll also get to be hands on with site recruitment. You'll have a visible presence on the factory floor, conducting HR walk-arounds, hosting welfare interviews, and staying connected across shifts. Plus, you'll take charge of communication, updating notice boards and digital displays to keep everyone informed. Your Duties Will Include:

  • Support the site HRBP in delivering the site HR Strategy including leading local or group projects
  • Provide case support for ER cases including advising managers, investigations, notetaking, producing letters and packs.
  • Support activity to identifying areas of improvement in terms of employee engagement
  • Coach managers to complete activities across the employee lifecycle
  • Support activity to attract, retain and develop site - including involvement in talent mapping and succession planning
  • Update HR databases, trackers and reporting as required
  • Manage site core manning / factory blue print and ensure recruitment activity is aligned to this plan
  • Support site early careers employees (Graduates and apprentices) and Compleat Communities
  • Ability to accurately complete Right to Work checks

    CIPD Qualification to Level 5, working towards or equivalent on the job experience
  • Experience of handling sensitive and confidential information within legislative requirements (preferable)
  • Ideally experienced in recruiting blue collar employees in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships, work collaboratively and a strong eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills including use of Excel, Word and HR Systems
  • Ideally experience of recruiting blue collar employees in a fast paced, high turnover industry
