Full Job Description
- Working across the business and within our sector, collaborating with leaders, management and other partners to deploy co-ordinated, business-orientated solutions reflective of our people strategy
- Identify and deliver all people and organisation requirements for your business area and deliver integrated solutions
- Manage and deliver the full HR life cycle, including talent management, resourcing, strategic workforce planning, employee engagement, reward and HR policy and processes
- Coaching and supporting our line managers, senior leaders and directors on all people related matters for your business area
- Manage the day-to-day HR operations, in addition functional HR projects that span the wider business
- Collaborate with line of business and leadership teams to implement change and continuous improvement
- Provide analysis of people data (inc. industry, market trends and internal), in order to benchmark and implement short- and long-term solutions that improve performance, including the development and retention of critical skills
Experience of working in a HR Advisor role in a large department or within a large organisation - Experience interfacing with a senior leadership team, and helping to develop and influence the organisation's people strategy
- Be an effective communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders at different levels
- Experience of working on projects to drive improvements in process, policy or practice Desirable:
- A degree in Human Resources / associate membership of the CIPD or working towards would be advantageous
- CIPD qualification

The Integrated Combat Systems business is responsible for the technology and combat system within the Submarine.
