Full Job Description

The role sits within the HR team and is based at ICTS HQ near Euston. The role is predominantly normal office working hours Monday to Friday with some flexibility based upon the requirements of the business.

The Main Purpose of the Role

Working as part of our busy HR team, the HR Advisor will support the English divisional operational teams in England in providing proactive, professional and timely HR advice and support. This role will provide first and second line employee relations guidance to managers and have full involvement in ER cases within the region

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Providing comprehensive guidance to operational managers on all aspects of HR

- Development and maintenance of excellent working relationships with key stakeholders

- Ensuring that best practice is adhered to at all times, which is sound and commercially viable

- Proactive involvement in disciplinary, grievance, sickness, suspension, and performance management activities

- Supporting wider change management projects such as TUPE, restructure and redundancy

- Production of key HR data reports

- Proactive support to line managers in cases of absence and suspensions

- Providing opportunities to upskill line managers, using a variety of different methods

- Ongoing support to the wider HR team as required

Experience of working as an HR Advisor within a fast paced, and dynamic environment

- Great communication skills, and the ability to coach and challenge managers on a variety of topics

- Self-confidence, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority

- Exposure to working with trade unions

- Strong, practical TUPE experience

- Good judgement, understanding of a highly operational business and solid commercial awareness

- Understanding of an outsourced environment

- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise numerous responsibilities

- An understanding of UK employment legislation and best practices

- Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage and analyse data

- Experience in working in an agile organisation

- A positive attitude and a commitment to being part of a high performing team

- An inquisitive mindset with an interest in continuous improvement

- Previous experience using ITrent

- Previous experience using Business Objects
