Fitness First is on the lookout for a dynamic HR Advisor to be a key player in supporting our employees and managers on a wide range of HR initiatives. If you thrive in a fast-paced, fitness-focused environment, this is your chance to help shape our workplace culture and contribute to the success of our team!, As an HR Advisor at Fitness First, you'll:

  • Be the go-to expert for managers on employee relations, policies, and procedures, providing guidance on matters like disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management.

  • Collaborate with the Head of HR to review, write, and implement HR policies across the employee lifecycle.

  • Drive recruitment processes, ensuring new hires are onboarded, inducted, and seamlessly transitioned to payroll.

  • Support key HR initiatives by developing reports, managing employee changes, and ensuring compliance with statutory leave and other regulations.

  • Play a crucial role in investigations, disciplinaries, and change management initiatives.

  • Maintain our applicant tracking system (Eploy), ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.

  • Contribute to HR administration, including monitoring team inboxes and assisting with various tasks that keep our HR department running smoothly.

    Is an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

  • Has exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Brings sound knowledge of employee relations and HR best practices.

  • Has a proven track record as an HR Officer or Advisor, ideally with experience in a fast-paced environment.

  • Is adaptable, with the flexibility to manage change and juggle multiple priorities.

  • Has strong administration and IT skills and is comfortable working with HR systems.

  • Ideally holds a CIPD Level 5 qualification or is working towards it.
