Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, experienced HR Advisor to work within the Trusts Human Resources Advisory Service to provide cover for maternity leave. This is an exciting role with a broad scope of responsibility, we are looking for an experienced individual who will work well within a team to achieve results whilst maintaining first-class quality standards. Utilising the hybrid approach between site working and home working. Secondments from within the NHS and partner organisations will be considered. We encourage applicants from all communities and promote the diversity of all backgrounds., The role is to provide a proactive, client focused service providing comprehensive and effective advice and guidance to managers. As an HR Advisor you will actively develop the skills and competencies of managers. You will be given exposure to the full range of employee relations casework in a unionised and complex organisational setting (including attendance management, conduct investigations, supporting performance, dignity at work and other workplace concerns raised by staff), supported by an experienced HR Manager. The role also involves providing advice, information and support to managers and staff on general workforce matters and terms and conditions.

Key to the work of the team is Personalised People Management, our approach to all workforce matters and the way we support our managers to lead their teams. This approach means considering each case on its own merits, understanding fully the reasons behind it, aiming for timely and local resolution wherever possible, and ensuring that all individuals involved are supported pro-actively and compassionately throughout. As a result, we have been undergoing a radical review of all our HR processes, policies and procedures, with the aim of ensuring individualised, early and informal resolution.
