Full Job Description

You will be required to provide a highly confidential, comprehensive and effective HR service where you will coordinate and administer key HR processes. You will assist in providing generalist, day-to-day HR support in relation to all HR operations in a busy and fast paced working environment.

Your main responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to the following:

· Supporting the HR Business Partner and HR Officer with a wide range of HR activities

· Providing effective HR Administration

· Assisting with all recruitment and retention activities in line with safer recruitment requirements, including creating and posting job adverts, screening applications, scheduling interviews

· Processing new starters, leavers and conducting all pre-employment checks

· Assisting employees with benefits enrolments and queries

· Coordinating the new starter and onboarding process

· Maintaining HR records and databases

· Updating HR documents as required

· Liaising with managers and their teams across all business functions

· Supporting with employee relations casework

· Collating HR information and data, analyse and produce reports

· Arranging and attending meetings and taking minutes as and where required

· Collating and providing payroll updates to the finance team

· Carrying out research and benchmarking

· Organising staff engagement initiatives

· Preparing information and creating documents as required

· Supporting HR system development

· Handling queries via phone, email and in person

· Sourcing and arranging training

· Leading on project work as required

· Arranging meetings and all requirements for meetings

· To contribute positively to the Clubs vision and culture

· To promote and adhere to the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy and to work consistently to embed ED&I into everything.

· To ensure the working environment is free from harassment and discrimination and any other form of unacceptable behaviour.

· To fully participate in one-to-ones and departmental reviews and meetings.

· To fully participate in annual and mid-term appraisals.

· To understand the Club's Safeguarding policy, procedures and best practice guidelines and use these to ensure appropriate and safe working practices applicable to the role.

· To promote and assist with Safeguarding.

· To carry out CPD and keep up to date with any training and updates relevant to the role.

· To ensure the health & safety within the Club for self and others is adhered to at all times.

· To carry out all responsibilities with due regard to the Club values and all policies and procedures, in particular Health & Safety, Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding.

· To undertake all required training, including mandatory Club Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety training.

· Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)

· Previous experience of working in HR

· Previous experience of working in a dynamic environment

· Working knowledge of HR policies and procedures

· Highly organised and methodical approach to workload

· Confidential and diplomatic

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

· Excellent attention to detail

· Understanding of GDPR

· Fully IT literate to include Microsoft Office

· Full driving license

· Right to Work in the UK

Desirable Criteria:

· Level 3 CIPD

· CIPD membership

· Experience of safer recruitment processes

· Safeguarding knowledge

· EDI knowledge

· Sustainability knowledge, An Enhanced DBS, References, Qualifications, Proof of Identity and Right Work in the UK checks will be required and carried out for this post.,
