HR Assistant
PERMANENT
37 hours per week
8:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
Term time plus 5 days, plus 4 weeks during periods of school closure
Grade 7, Points 20 - 25
£30,296 - £33,945 per annum - Actual Salary: £27,938 - £31,303

The Governing body is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead on all areas of the HR function at the school. This post offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with a vision to inspire pupils in a 21st Century learning environment.
You will be the sole HR specialist responsible for leading the operational HR function at the school, therefore the ability to work independently and use own initiative to provide first line advice and solve queries is essential. The role will cover a diverse range of HR related responsibilities including; recruitment, payroll processing, attendance management, maintenance of staff personnel data.
Support in the role will be provided through Central HR resources who will be available to offer training and supervision on a regular basis.
This is a mid-level position, therefore in order to seamlessly adapt to the demands of this position, you will need to have previous experience of working in a similar position.
To be successful in the role you must have:
· exceptional interpersonal skills
· strong resilience
· ability to follow robust processes and procedures
· ability to multi-task and continually prioritise workload without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment
