Full Job Description

As our HR Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the HR team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. From recruitment coordination and onboarding to maintaining HR records and providing general administrative support, you'll be a vital part of our people-first approach. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of HR functions and grow your career in HR. Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Manage the HR inboxes and respond to day-to-day queries on HR policies, procedures, self-service systems, benefits and problem solve issues in a timely and supportive manner.
  • Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job adverts, reviewing CVs, engaging recruiters, coordinating interviews and making offers.
  • Support and coordinate the onboarding and leaving processes for employees, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. This will include greeting new joiners on their first day and carrying out the right to work checks, presenting the new joiner induction and carrying out exit chats.
  • Create contractual documents and references letters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems/databases and prepare reports when required.
  • Coordinate the monthly payroll for FMUK.
  • Support and coordinate work experience and other internships and placements.
  • Support the HR Team on wider HR initiatives and projects, e.g. pay reviews, company survey, L&D, Wellbeing, DE&I etc.
  • Ensure company org charts are accurate and kept up to date on a monthly basis.
  • Organising payment of invoices and expenses.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external providers.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the HR team.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with HR or payroll systems is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is desirable, but we're happy to support the right candidate in their development.
