Full Job Description

We have an exciting position for an HR Assistant to join the Human Resources Department supporting us with our operational HR administrative tasks. There is scope for the post holder to get involved in contributing to the ongoing improvement of the HR People Service. You will be part of a team that provides customer and solution focused services to our staff and managers. The People Services Department sit within the Workforce Directorate. This role will sit within the HR administration team primarily supporting candidates, recruiting managers and Care Group staff with their recruitment onboarding activities., You will work with the rest of the HR team to ensure that our candidates have a great recruitment experience through;

  • Issuing conditional offer letters, liaise with candidates to carry out pre-employment checks in line with the 6 NHS employers checks guidance.
  • Supporting with HR events such as formal inductions
  • Carrying out new joiner onboarding actions for staff ensuring that they are fully to settle into their role

    Tower Hamlets GP Care Group (the Care Group) was incorporated as a community interest company limited by shares in September 2014. Every general practice in Tower Hamlets owns one share of £1. The Care Group was formed to manage borough level contracts on behalf of the practices, deliver primary care led services and support general practices, and to be the provider voice of primary care in the wider health and social care system.
