Full Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of HR Assistant (Employee Relations) in the Human Resources Department. This is a full-time, permanent role that will support the Employee Relations and Business Partnering team and the Head of Collective Employee Relations. The postholder will provide efficient and high-quality administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of key HR processes and maintaining confidential and accurate records., # Arranging and producing agendas and minutes for meetings and ensuring follow-up on actions.
# Supporting investigations and hearings, including note-taking and producing meeting packs.
# Managing responses to complex and sensitive correspondence.
# Assisting in generating employee relations-related data analytics reports.
# Maintaining accurate electronic records and files.
# Interacting with stakeholders at all levels and building positive working relationships.
# Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to use tact and diplomacy.
# Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
# High level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
# Proficiency in IT and administrative tasks.
# Experience working in a busy HR department, with knowledge of the HE sector being desirable.
