HR Business Partner

Salary in the range of £37,429 to £40,937.16 p/a (potential for time-limited additional responsibilities up to £45,375 p/a).

We are currently looking for a HR Business Partner to join our HR team and contribute to our mission to make Oldham College the best place to learn and work. Oldham College employs around 650 dedicated colleagues across a range of teaching and professional support roles. We all share the same commitment to help our 4000 students unlock their full potential.

The Role

This newly created role will support our team to deliver a high-performing customer-focused HR service. The successful candidate will provide professional expertise in relation to all people related matters and ensure line managers are equipped to effectively manage, through the provision of advice, support and guidance.

The Candidate:

To succeed at the College, you will need: -

  • Excellent customer relationship / partnering skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • The ability to prioritise and effectively deliver HR change projects in a busy and demanding environment.

  • Strong employment law knowledge and the ability to manage complex and contentious employee relations matters.

  • A strong commitment to continuous improvement and resilience to enable you to implement HR service improvements whilst still delivering the day job.
