As a HRBP you can expect to play a pivotal role in driving our people agenda across the North West . From addressing HR enquiries from colleagues and managers, to proactive business partnering with leaders , you'll create a thriving culture conducive to patient care. Reporting to the Chief HR Officer you'll work closely with the wider HR team to implement HR strategy and best practices, while serving as a trusted advisor to the management team . Day-to-day this could include leading policy implementation, training initiatives, and influencing people management decisions to support our long-term objectives .   • Partner with managers across the facility providing expert advice on complex employee relations issues in line with HCA's policies.
  • Support and review sickness, absence management, conduct and behaviour, capability, clinical competence concerns, coach on performance management. Owning day-to-day management of ER cases, to a level that doesn't require CHRO input.
  • Manage your own diary, appointments, case load notes including taking minutes, and transactional day to day administration, incl uding letter writing, employment references, exit interviews data and reporting.
  • Support Line Manager to be self-serving, writing guidance notes and training methods, delivering Line Manager training workshops, or 1-1 coaching.
  • Lead on local induction for new employees, focused on engagement, and creating an environment of belonging.
  • Promote HCA's values, commitment to equal opportunities and diversity within the organisation. Including creating and presenting presentations.
  • Promote wellbeing initiatives, wellness services, staff benefits, engagement days, celebrating staffing group days, long service awards, employee of the quarter, and other staff praise and recognition programmes.
  • Champions the group employee engagement survey, working proactively with each department to ensure a programme of activity is in place to address opportunities identified from the survey results.
  • Work with the resourcing team on starter and leaver enquiries.
  • Work with the wider HCA teams, such as Legal, Payroll, The Learning Academy and HR Compliance teams, to resolve any employee queries.

    HR Generalist experience and expertise , operating at a Human Resource Business Partner Level, ideally within a large organisation, with multiple sites.
  • CIPD Qualified to a minimum of Level 5,
  • A proven track record , advising all staffing levels, up to including board level, driving people management aligned to business objectives , values, colleague engagement and performance results.
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting HR projects, business partnering senior teams in a fast paced environment. Including analysing HR Metrics.
  • Experience of managing own caseloads, advising and coaching senior managers on a range of ER issues including, sickness management, absence management, conduct, behaviour, capability, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Exceptional IT, co-ordination and administration skills.
